空間坪數為235坪,基地位於台北市的A級商辦大樓中。業主是台灣照明產業中的領導品牌,訴求此一全新的企業總部空間能跳脫以往傳統台灣辦公室僵化、制式的框架,透過設計展現時尚、科技感,藉此傳達品牌仍持續創新、富有活力的意涵。用以接待訪客、呈現企業形象的入口玄關是本次設計重點。由於屋高有限,入口處天花使用具反射效果的材質,搭配大理石地坪,透過彼此間的映射擴充視覺、化解壓迫。運用石材切割成鑽石切面的櫃台設計,構成空間視覺焦點,櫃台後方立面並以導斜角的格柵造型呼應。從櫃台立面線條延伸至天花,利用長短不一的燈條導引視覺至進門左側的世界地圖燈箱,彰顯品牌進軍國際的企圖心。有如玻璃盒子的會議室,藉由材質成為一道隱性區隔,既清楚定義場域性質,視覺上亦保有延展開闊,並配搭拉簾創造隱私調節的彈性。白板及收鈉均整合於牆面之中,乾淨而俐落;佐以多段式照明控制系統,讓燈光能因應會晤、洽談、休憩等多元用途變化。員工辦公區以開放式佈局為規劃,透過地坪材質的差異性暗示行進動線;將既有結構柱體採具有反射特性的材質修飾,延伸設計收納櫃體,消弭龐大突兀感受。所有辦公事務機器與相關備品,亦透過特製的系統櫃加以整合於空間走道一側,有效提升工作效率。
企業總部代表了品牌精神,而玄關櫃台乃企業予人的第一印象,我們在櫃台的設計上為業主提出貼切的創作概念,最終得到令人滿意的結果。我們從一位冶鐵者在高溫環境下專注打造藝品,過程中所激盪出的火花炫目而燦爛,而鐵砧正承受著千錘百鍊的畫面中獲得靈感,用以象徵企業主成立近半世紀以來仍兢兢業業塑造品牌,力求在通路與行銷予以變革、創新的經營策略。櫃台採製作鐵藝的工具──鐵砧──為概念,同時也與企業logo的首個英文字母「T」相應;創作鐵藝時必然會產生的火花,我們在空間裡運用燈條作為指明,而這些火花最終流動至擁抱世界舞台的願景之上。除了展示企業產品特點與價值,此處也是員工完成工作的地方,因此我們精研格局分配的合理性、廊道尺度、空間色彩,並賦予多樣化的燈光配置,營造舒適、符合人體工學且高效的辦公環境。所有部門被統合在同一平面中,以玻璃為隔間的獨立主管辦公室前方直接對應所屬部門,強化水平與垂直溝通效率。
The interior area is 705 square meters, as the project is located within a top-class commercial office building in Taipei City. As the owner is the leading brand of Taiwan's lighting industry, the design, through the interior design of this brand new corporate headquarter, strives to depart from the conventional rigid and pedantic design framework of offices in Taiwan, and to exhibit the sense of fashion and technology, through which innovation and energy of the brand can be articulated. The key focus of this design project is the entrance, intended for visitor reception and display of corporate image. As the ceiling height is limited, the ceiling of the entrance lobby consists of reflective materials, complemented by marble flooring, hence brings relief to any visual oppression through expanded visual quality through multiple reflection. The design for the masonry reception counter is of diamond-cut form in constituting the visual focus of the space, while slant-angled grille on the back wall of the counter echoes such formal articulation. The illuminated world-map light-box, installed on the left-hand side of the entrance, was wired with lighting tubes of various lengths, in manifesting the corporate ambition of the company to reach for the global market. The conference room, much like a glass box, has become an invisible demarcating element of materiality, clearly defining the nature of the domain, while visually opening up the domain, of which privacy can be adjusted by pull-curtain. White board and storage space were all placed within the wall volume in a clean-cut fashion; with multiple-phase lighting control system, lighting is able to cater for meeting, discussion and relaxation purposes. Working area is of open-planning, with different flooring materials to connate path of movement; the existing structural volumes are treated with reflective materials with storage volume designed to reduce the volume perception. All office equipment and consumables are stored within the specially made system cabinets placed on one side of the corridor, while elevating working productivity.
As corporate headquarter represents corporate value, the entrance counter is the first impression of the corporate spirit, so it was a conscious design decision to inject the overall design essence into the counter design, before getting such satisfactory result. The inspiration came from the process of ironsmith in symbolizing the successful corporate strategies in the past 40-plus years to ferment its brand and bringing innovative changes to its channel and marketing. The counter was designed with the concept of iron board, with its T-shape resembling the first English alphabet, “T”, of the corporate logo; as iron work produces spark, we use strip lighting to articulate the dynamic quality of sparkling light. Apart from exhibiting corporate product characteristics and values, this is also the place where staffs complete their work, therefore, much care has gone into the rationality of layout, corridor dimension, spatial coloring and diversified lighting arrangement so as to create a comfortable, ergonomically friendly and highly productive office environment. All departments have been included in a single space plane, while managers’ offices are separated from, yet connected to, their respective staffs in-charge, in strengthening horizontal and vertical communication effectiveness.
