佛經云：「法不孤起，仗境方生。」世間的一切都是因緣而存在，如同光之於域、氣之於人、水之於萬物。透過光線遊走，讓時間變成線索、提示，粹練出場域自由膽識與認真態度，不以技巧或堆疊，從容解構序列共生，所觸及的是在時間裡流變著的空間，勾摹出寧靜而闊朗的表情，撼動人心且不卑不亢。

設計，以最初的形式依附生活經驗，於空間中反映著一種關係、儀式、對話、甚或事件，讓身心安於每個當下，且與內在原始初心再度相遇。再以平鋪直敍的方式，在賦予空氣與光源流通空間的同時，將場域元素「減」到最少，除了內化居者的情感與生活內容，使其感受豐富且深刻，更藉由創意純粹由著不同角度的面向，分化配置邏輯，暢達視野且將外景向內延攬，引導生活與情感相連的脈絡，歸納專屬於居者的風格與調性，進而互相呼應，蘊藉一股靜態動感。

材料，在設計不多過於生活所需的理念下進行，以最少材料完成作品，透過媒材肌理回應空間本質，釀製溫暖溫度，於虛實進退之間，反映一種不爭的生活態度。

The essence of life begins with existence. Simple as it is.

According to Buddhism, the teaching of Buddha does not arise alone; it is a response to conditions. Everything exists because of cause, just like light to space, air to human and water to all things on earth. The movement of light reflects time. Using time as a clue, the designer is able to decode the casual and symbiotic relations in a space with ease and confidence. Understanding that space changes with time gives a calm and heartfelt expression to the work.

Design arises from life experience and is a reflection of relations, rituals, conversations and events in space. It enables the mind and body to feel at ease and return to the point of origin. Aside from giving sufficient air and light to space, all elements are cut down to the minimum. Design is not only about bringing in the emotion and life of the resident, it is also about creativity. Creativity rearranges logic, conveys views and extends the exterior into the interior from new perspectives. Design echoes the patterns of life and condenses the style of the resident, forging a silent but dynamic presence.

Minimal material is used to complete the work because design should not override the basic requirements of living. The texture of the material responds to the essence of space and delivers warmth, reflecting an aloof attitude of life.
